Creative Destruction and Pre-emptive War

Filed under: Uncategorized — wisgop @ 12:59 am

I decided to finally sit down and watch the 11 part series on YouTube regarding Dr. Ron Paul’s warning against the Neo-Conservative philosophy. I was shocked when part 7 started, because it mentioned two words that had been on my ‘radar’ just the other day… Creative Destruction.

What this means is that the Neo-Conservatives have used Machiavellian philosophy to justify the invasion of other countries. The term “creative” in that the events are made-up and “destruction” in that we are now at war.

This is very disappointing to me for the context I had heard those two words was pretty much the opposite. A spiritual website described a Hindu God of destruction as one who brings forth newness into the world from the remains of that which is destroyed (or something very Timothy-Leary like that!)

So i decided to see what’s on the URL www.CreativeDestruction.com … I found a successful entrepreneur has the site with a blog and some personal family photos. He has a young daughter and he appears to be of Arab or Indian decent which I think was notable having just shipped off to Iraq! Looking at his resume of accomplishments, was a little confused how an American entrepreneur with political interests and obvious libertarian tendencies would leave his family and enlist in the military?

It saddened me that this man is so dedicated to Neo-Conservative ideal which may kill him. I sincerely hope this man comes back with a new perspective after surviving in the war, seeing things with new eyes, perhaps destroying some beliefs and creating new ones – and I hope he comes back to write about it, prolifically.

Here’s Ron Paul on the topic that brought me to that:
